Industrial Policy 2019 aims to augment the manufacturing ecosystem of Maharashtra through fiscal and non-fiscal interventions including enhanced ease of doing business.
The key objectives are to increase flow of industrial investments, promote MSMEs, create employment, and promote regionally balanced, environmentally sustainable, & inclusive industrial growth.

This policy aims to make Maharashtra a part of the global supply chain, upgrade from traditional warehousing to provider of fully integrated value-added logistic services. It also aims to improve efficiency, reduce logistic costs and improve overall logistic infrastructure of the state to ensure last mile connectivity.
Key objectives are to develop Logistics Clusters in the state & develop at least 25 integrated multi-modal logistic parks across the State and promote a minimum of 100 logistic parks.

The policy aims to support adoption of sustainable and clean mobility solutions in Maharashtra and make the state leading investment & manufacturing destination for Electric Vehicles ecosystem.
The key objectives are to accelerate adoption of Battery Electric Vehicles, increase public charging stations, electrification of public transport and last-mile delivery vehicles, to establish at least 1 gigafactory for manufacturing of ACC (advanced chemistry cell) batteries.
Some drivers of the policy are fiscal support for buyers, fiscal incentives for vehicle scrappage, support to development of charging infrastructure, linkages to PLI Scheme, Zero Emission Vehicle Credit Program, State Electric Vehicles Fund and more.
The policy aims to establish Maharashtra as the preferred investment destination for domestic Aerospace & Defence manufacturing, promote indigenous and modernized technological capabilities, develop world class skilled man-power, and support MSMEs to be globally competitive.
Key objectives are to attract investments worth USD 2 Billion during policy period, develop world class skilled manpower, create employment opportunities, and promote development of indigenous technology.
Some drivers of the policy are development of Nagpur as global hub for airlines, development of defence hubs across the state, projects in PPP and JV model, support for R&D centers and testing facilities.
The policy aims to promote manufacturing of electronics products, develop a vibrant ecosystem of R&D, design, engineering, and innovation in electronics in the State.
Key objectives include boosting ESDM sector specific skill development and training programs, ESDM exports from Maharashtra, creation of Intellectual Property.
Some drivers of the policy are support for lithium ion battery, LED manufacturing projects, Electronics Development Fund, incubation centers, manufacturing park, Single Window facility and more.
In the recent amendment, electronic policy of Maharashtra is delinked from MSIPS and linked to SPECS and PLI schemes of Government of India.
The policy aims to make Maharashtra a globally competitive Information Technology/ Information Technology Enabled Services destination that promotes inclusive growth and to establish Maharashtra as an intellectual and knowledge capital of India.
Key objectives are to increase investment flow in all segments of the IT/ITeS industry including rural BPOs, AVGC industry and Data centers, balanced regional development, increase skill base for IT industry and to promote IP creation.

The policy aims to encourage setting up of Fiber to Fashion value chain, generate new employment in this sector.
Key objectives are to place special focus on cotton growing areas, processing, knitting, hosiery and garmenting sectors to create an internationally competitive textile industry, set up pollution free/ ecofriendly dyeing and processing industry, increase mulberry and tussar cultivation, increase silk yarn production and create a silk tourism corridor, among others.
Some drivers of the policy include co-operative spinning mills, support for powerlooms, textile parks and more.
The aim of the policy is to set up a Global FinTech Hub in Mumbai Metropolitan Region in order to establish Mumbai as one of the top FinTech Centers in the world.
Key drivers of the policy are Smart FinTech Centers, FinTech corpus fund of INR 250 Crores, fiscal support to fintech startups, investment fund of INR 20 Crores to support incubators and accelerators, state FinTech registry and more.
